Meet Our Cats: The Real Teachers of Zeitgeist Zentrum

When you walk into our school, you’ll notice something different almost immediately. It’s not just the cozy, living-room feel or the smell of fresh coffee. It’s the quiet, furry presence that reminds you this is a place to feel completely at ease. While our human instructors are busy teaching grammar, our two resident cats are here for a more fundamental lesson: stress reduction.

Meet Stevie and Tila, the heart of our team. These two nine-year-old siblings have been with us from the very beginning, and they play a vital role in our unique learning environment.

The Great Outdoorsman: Stevie

Stevie is our handsome explorer. He's a true free spirit who loves nothing more than to venture outside for a walk. He's curious, brave, and reminds us that some of the best learning happens when we step outside our comfort zone and explore new territory. When he’s not on an adventure, you'll find him overseeing classes with a quiet, reassuring presence, always ready to receive a head scratch.

The Queen of the Castle: Tila

Then there's Tila, our little princess. She’s the undisputed queen of Zeitgeist Zentrum, and she knows it. Tila prefers to patrol her castle from the comfort of the indoors, gracefully roaming from room to room, ensuring all is well in her domain. If you really want to earn her favor, a few crunchy treats are the best way to get her attention. Her regal presence adds to the calm, comforting energy of our school.

Why Our Cats Are Our Greatest Teachers

We believe learning should be a joyful and low-pressure experience. Traditional schools can be intimidating, but it’s hard to feel anxious when a purring cat is curled up at your feet. Stevie and Tila are experts at creating a home-like atmosphere. They remind us to slow down, be present, and find joy in the little things like a well-earned nap in the sun.

More than anything, they’re a constant, friendly presence that makes every student feel welcome. They are, in their own quiet way, living proof of our philosophy: learning a new language is about finding a place where you feel comfortable and secure enough to relax.

So, when you visit us, come ready to learn, but also come ready to make a friend or two.
